Today’s post is inspired by Oprah and Michael Jackson, so I would like to acknowledge them first. I decided to watch the Youtube documentary about Michael Jackson after watching Wendy Williams rave about the biopic lifetime movie based on the life of Michael Jackson. after watching the documentary,I watched the Oprah interview for probably the second time with more understanding than I had when I first watched it as a little child. I saw a purity and honesty in him that was rare. During the interview Oprah asked two questions that touched me, but the last one came from Michael’s misinterpretation, so I as myself these 3 questions instead.
What do you want to be known for?
For being a genuinely kind, fair and honest human being. I live my life by the mantra ” do unto others as you want them to do unto you”.
What do you want to be remembered for?
I lived , laughed and loved. A wonderful mother.
What do I know for sure?
That I am a kind and honest person and I love my children. And that if I had the means I would want to build a shelter where homeless people can sleep at night , be assured of one good meal and have one guaranteed bath.
Think about these questions deeply, because I found out that they touched my core and made me think about my purpose one more time.
